Zebra Tect2Way

Here are a few nice mechanical pencils made by Zebra. The Tect2Way model is a nice looking pencil featuring a shaking lead advancement mechanism and a variety of color options.

Modding wise, the pencil is very iconic, used in arguably one of the most expensive mods of all time, the Menowa* Reimei. This mod took advantage of the removable metal ring (.43g) near the front of the pencil, requiring six Tect2Ways in total to make a complete Menowa* Reimei. However, the metal ring is not all this pencil has to offer. It boasts a very unique tip (1.92g), and three silicone grip rings that are very commonly used as decoration in a wide range of mods.

Some mods that use this pencil are as follows:
- Menowa* Reimei (metal ring)
- Menowa* Mod (silicone rings)
- VoreTex KT (tip)
- Mina ST (shaker tube)

As you can see, just with these four mods, every usable aspect of the Tect2Way is utilized, making it very versatile and worth every penny. I'm sure someone could find a use for the removable front plastic piece too, making the pencil even more worth the $6 price tag.

Another version of this pencil exists, made by Muji. It is completely identical in every day, but in my opinion, looks cooler because it is completely transparent aside from the metal parts. I don't own one but if I were to get some in the future, I'd save them for when I need to write.
